Fly the Friendly Skies of Coaching

By Mitch Meyerson Every world champion has had a coach. Heres why the coaching industry growing so fast and how it can make you a champion, too. Scared to fly these days? Taxing your patience with long lines at airport security? Pressed for time so that you can’t attend seminars that can give you the information to add profits to your business? The solution to these problems is summarized in one word: coaching. I make a presentation and watch as the audience takes careful notes, nods in agreement with what I say, then rises to its feet with applause. But deep in my heart, I know that only 5 percent of the people in the audience will actually take action based upon what they have learned. These are bright people, motivated people, but the vast majority of them are just too busy or too overwhelmed by day-to-day business matters to implement the changes they know they must make. They have everything it takes to succeed except for one thing follow-up. Its that lack of follow-up that has led to the explosive growth of the coaching industry. And “explosive” might be an understatement. Fortune magazine agrees: “The hottest thing in management today is the executive coach.” Newsweek magazine chimes in with their take on coaching: “”They’re part therapist, part consultant–and they sure know how to succeed in business.” The Harvard Business Review tells us, “The goal of coaching is the goal of good management: to make the most of an organization’s valuable resources.” Executive Female is even more specific: “Coaching is having a dedicated mentor; its getting knowledgeable support and encouragement and a new way of looking at things when you need it.” Forget flying, taking the train or traveling. Forget going to someone else’s office to energize your business. Instead, imagine closing the door to your office for 30 minutes and having your own private success coach right there. Or perhaps the perfect time is on your cellular phone during that tedious commute to and from work. In fact you can call from any state in the country. What happens in a coaching session? Together you and your coach work together to create better, more effective goals and agree to reach those goals in a timely manner. A good coach encourages you and helps you to stay on track by helping you understand roadblocks to change and creating a solid support structure for you to stay motivated and proactive. The line at the bottom has “follow-up” written all over it. Weve learned that guerrillas need follow-up and now were offering it. Success at marketing means youre part of a process and not merely engaging in an event. Have you ever attended an excellent training program, perhaps a full day or weekend seminar? The speaker is great, the information is valuable and you take eight pads full notes. You come back to your business and you’re lucky if you implement even one idea. Why? Consider this analogy from the world of sports. Let’s say you decide you want to become a tennis player. You take a tennis lesson. No matter how great that tennis lesson is, you do not become an overnight tennis champion. It takes a process to create a tennis champion, and it takes a process to create a profitable company. Coaching is a process training experience designed to have a dramatic impact on your business. The entire design of a coaching program is to get you to take action and then to stay with you to assure the proper follow-up. If a coach is nothing else, hes a master of implementation, and if hes a winning coach, hell impart that mastery to you. When I write a book, I know it has only two parts: starting it and completing it. When you opened your business, you had the same two parts. Coaching exists to help you with that second part. Coaching exists to provide the objectivity and extra energy that champions possess. If youre interested in learning more, just check out the explosive growth of the coaching industry as a whole, and if youre interested in participating, now you can do it as a guerrilla and gear up to be a champion yourself. To be one, now you don’t even need a boarding pass. Mitch Meyerson and Jay Conrad Levinson are the founders of the Guerrilla Marketing Coach Certification Program that has now trained over 170 Guerrilla Marketing coaches. Their next program is starting soon. Real Masonic Symbolism Is All Around Us

By Tom Sandkamp With the passing this week of our 38th president, and brother mason, Gerald R. Ford I thought it only fitting to give you some insight into Freemasonry. It is one of the oldest, noblest and most misunderstood of fraternities. Freemasonry as an organization has been in its current existence since the late 1600’s, but its roots are far older and deeper. In this short article I do not plan to tackle or dismiss any of the purposeful misrepresentations of masonry but only give you some simple truths along with fact. As time permits me I will attempt to unveil which is veiled, but only as much as I am able as a worthy brother mason I myself am an active 32nd degree mason. This to the uninitiated means that I was, “raised”, or became a 3rd degree mason in what is called the Blue lodge. I then gained admission to the Scottish rite and then went through the additional series of 29 degrees that are put on in the form of a play with actors, costumes props and music. Free masonry is alive with many well known symbols that you and I see everyday. The difference being, that the initiated know well of these symbols, history and their true meaning. Ever take a close look at a dollar bill? George Washington was a mason and on the reverse of that bill is the design of a pyramid with a single eye above. That symbol stands for the watchful eye of the creator or as masons refer to him as GATU (Great Architect of the Universe). The men who authorized and designed that bill were also masons; one was President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt. Do you think that was a coincidence? I guarantee that it was not. Until I write again, may we all meet and part by the square. I am a 38 year old Mason. I am also involved with the York Rite as well as Scottish rite bodies of masonry. I am a married father of four, ages 19,11,6 and 19 months. I also enjoy internet marketing and have been doing that to gain clients in my equities business. If you would like some real information on using the internet to make money, please visit my website. http://www.worksmart-playharder.com http://www.worksmart-playharder.com/SecretsOfMasonery.html Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Tom_Sandkamp http://EzineArticles.com/?Real-Masonic-Symbolism-Is-All-Around-Us&id=403642 best place to buy phentermine phentermine without prescription buy cheap phentermine online best place to buy phentermine

Telephones - A History - The First Construction

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Russell]Michael Russell In this next part in our series on the history of the telephone, we’re going to pick up with the construction of the first regular telephone line. After Bell’s completion of the telephone in 1876 the next step was making it so that this invention could be used by everybody. So in 1877, construction of the first regular telephone line, which ran from Boston to Somerville, Massachusetts, was finished. By the end of 1880 there were over 47,900 telephones in the United States and in 1881 a telephone service from Boston to Providence was set up. Then in 1892, they started a service between New York and Chicago. Two years later, in 1894, a service began between New York and Boston but it wasn’t until 1915 that transcontinental service by overhead wire was created. Backtracking a bit, the first switchboard, what we now call 411 service, was set up in Boston in 1877. Then on January 17, 1882, Leroy Firman got his first patent for a telephone switchboard. The first telephone exchange was set up in New Haven in 1878. The first telephones were leased to people in pairs. Each person was required to put up his own line in order to connect with another. Finally, in 1889, a Kansas City undertaker by the name of Almon B. Strowger invented a switch that could connect one line to any one of 100 lines using a series of relays and sliders. This switch came to be known as the Strowger Switch and it was still being used by telephone offices over 100 years later. Strowger was given a patent in 1891 for his first automatic telephone exchange. The very first exchange that used the Strowger Switch was set up in La Porte, Indiana in 1892. At first, subscribers to the service had a button on their telephone that produced the required number of pulses by tapping on it. It wasn’t until 1896 that one of Strowger’s assistants invented the rotary dial. This ultimately replaced the button and is still in use on telephones today, mostly for novelty purposes. In 1943, Philadelphia was the last city to give up dual service for both button and pulse dialling. The first touch tone system, which used tones in the voice frequency range instead of pulses used by rotary dials, was installed in Baltimore, Maryland in 1941. Operators in a central switching office pushed the buttons to make this work. The problem was, it was just too expensive for general use by the public, but the Bell Telephone Company, named after the man credited with the invention of the phone, was still interested in the touch tone system because it increased the speed of dialling. The answer to this problem came in the 1960s when low cost transistors and circuit components made the cost effective use of touch tone telephones in a person’s home a real possibility. Through much testing, positioning of the buttons limited errors and increased dialling speed even more. The touch tone phone got its big preview at the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, where it was a huge success. ——————————————————- Michael Russell Your Independent guide to [http://telephone-guides.com/]Telephones ——————————————————- Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Michael_Russell http://EzineArticles.com/?Telephones—A-History—The-First-Construction&id=171139 phentermine online physician buy phentermine cash on delivery phentermine without doctors prescription order phentermine 37.5 mg

Understanding Best Payday Loans to Make Them a Rule Rather than an Exception

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Kelly]Tim Kelly Any loan resulting in a release of cash during times of immediate financial crises would be termed as best payday loan. It is only after the purpose for which the loan was taken gets satisfied that we start thinking critically of the loan. It will be wrong to term this tendency as selfishness. Payday loans are actually made dearer by loan providers. Many borrowers actually decide to take loans at any terms stated by the lenders because of the urgency involved in the situation. Lenders will not miss to profit of this opportunity. Thus, we find best payday loans costing dearly to its borrowers. High rates of interest and large fees are often appended to the payday loan, thus increasing the cost of the payday loan. However, this was not what you had expected of the best payday loan. High interest rates were expected, but not of the extent that adorns your payday loan now. Neither had you expected that the lender would charge as high a fees. It is when the payday loan comes over for repayment that the expensiveness of the loan comes into view. Though it may be too late to think of this now, this serves as a lesson for the next time that you plan to take a payday loan again. Proper planning ensures that the payday loan can be conveniently termed as a best payday loan. Firstly, borrowers need to understand that payday loans differ from the other regular loans in terms of the purpose to which they are employed. The needs to which the payday loan is employed are characterised with urgency. These are generally routine monthly expenses, requiring only a small amount towards their disbursal. Thus, regular loans, where large amounts are exchanged, may not be appropriate. Moreover, regular loans that take several weeks to be approved and sanctioned may not be appropriate for these expenses because of the urgency involved. Individuals, who may have ended their monthly paycheque before the next paycheque becomes due, find themselves hapless in making any extra payments.Best payday loans provide access to funds at a very short notice. Through payday loans, borrowers can draw funds in the range of 80 to 400. Depending on the needs of the borrowers and the lending policy adhered to by the lender, the borrowable amount may further go upwards. These funds will be used by borrowers to expend with ease. Payday loans are short-term loans. The amount has to be returned with the interest within a month; sometimes within weeks. Lenders may employ different methods to get back the money. The most popular of these is the post-dated cheque system. The cheque is dated for presentation on the desired date. On the specific date, the amount is automatically cut from the borrowers account. For this purpose, some loan providers would require the borrower to have a checking account. The post-dated cheque may also serve as collateral. In this sense, [http://www.bestpaydayloans.co.uk/instant-payday-loan.html]Best payday loans may also be regarded as secured loans. Borrowers, who desire to have best payday loans without the clause of collateral, will have to further search the UK financial market. The concept of unsecured payday loans is fast catching up with lenders in the UK, and it may not be much difficult to have best payday loans without collateral. There are certain essentials that the borrower needs to have in order to become eligible for best payday loans. The borrower needs to be employed with a regular income that is transferred directly into his bank account. The borrower must have a chequebook and a checking account as mentioned before. An important advantage of best payday loans is that credit history will not be checked. Borrowers with bad credit history will specially find the clause beneficial. Many loan providers may not even require borrowers to present their social security number. Online application and online processing suit best payday loans. Best payday loans need to be approved fast in order to meet the immediate needs. Online applications transfer personal and loan details quickly to the loan providers. Thus, online application contributes towards a faster approval of best payday loans. Though best payday loans present a convenient method of drawing cash during emergencies, they must not be misused. Expert advice ensures that borrowers have enough knowledge to make a proper use of payday loans. So You’ve Retired With Plenty Of Money - Now What? Wealth Management Solutions In Retirement

By Keith Springer Okay, you are one of the lucky ones, making a killing in real estate and the stock market, or you have scrimped and saved so some day you hope to have a big enough nest egg to retire. Congratulations! Youve done it. Now what? Financial planning has historically focused on helping people achieve major financial goals such as saving and investing in order to retire comfortably, sending kids to college or buying that private island in the south pacific. But what about retirees, who, for the most part, have already achieved their goals and simply want to preserve their way of life? Life changes when you are living your goals rather than aspiring toward them. Suddenly, you have more to lose than to gain and you want to know how to keep what you have. Building and generating wealth is no longer the most important thing in this stage of life, but preservation of wealth is vital. With more Americans approaching this phase of life, the issue of how to manage money within retirement is increasingly becoming a priority. Consider these statistics: The largest growing population segment in our country is people 100 years or older. Within the next decade, most of the boomers will reach traditional retirement age. About 25% of the U.S. population–one in four people–will be retired. Many of us will spend more years in retirement than we did working. Yet when you search on the internet for retirement help, youll find page after page almost exclusively focused on making money and building wealth for retirement rather than managing wealth in retirement. No one seems to be educating retirees about managing their income and developing the right distribution strategies. Estate planning is well coveredprobably because its a goal to provide money to heirs. But helping retirees to manage the money they have today, while they are still in retirement, is conspicuously absent in most financial education efforts. From our experience in educating our clients for retirement, there are seven key areas where retirees need both financial education and financial planning in order to protect and preserve wealth: Money management. Managing your monthly expenses to ensure they are not forced to take large distributions from their retirement nest eggs to meet current obligations. Cleaning up the nest. Out of site, out of mind is far too often the mantra for retirees. However, a failure to organize can be disastrous later on. Pull together all those retirement accounts: IRAs (yes, some folks do forget about older IRAs they have), old 401ks from previous employers, annuities etc. review and consolidates. Roll-over that 401k to your IRA, which is almost always in your best interest. Make sure the right information, such as beneficiaries are on the accounts and they are set up directly. Once you or your spouse dies, its too late. Distribution planning. Planning distributions to ensure that you are not taking too much or too little from their retirement accounts, minimizing tax liability, and meeting Required Minimum Distribution amounts. Managing your money and continuing to accumulate assets. Now that retirees are living longer, their nest eggs must last longer. The old paradigm of becoming more conservative in retirement can sometimes backfire if retirees become too conservative and stop growing their assets. It is important to make sure that they are continuing to grow their nest egg to at least keep pace with their distribution needs and to outpace inflation and taxes. Protecting wealth. This is the area where retirees get the most attentionin the form of estate and insurance planning. However, they typically get their information from different sources and there is much inaccurate or misleading information as to how to set up wills, trusts, and charitable giving programs and what type of insurance policies are appropriate based on their personal circumstances. Also, insurance and estate planning tend to be viewed separately, when in reality both are tools to protect wealth and often to minimize taxes. Establishing your legacy. For high net worth folks, certain other challenges exist to ensure that your estate survives you: Pre-managing your estate tax liability so the kids wont have to sell off your assets such as the business or the farm to pay the bill; setting up Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRT); establishing a family limited partnership or LLC; other (vehicles that are not even invested yet) Managing the Ultimate Distribution. This is the most dangerous area and, not surprising the most confusing and overlooked. Careful consideration must be paid to not only saving and investing your money, but on the proper mechanics on how the assets need to be held in order to maximize your income distribution through your retirement. The tax laws are changing all the time, sometimes drastically as with the Pension Protection Act of 2006, so educate yourself early and often Your financial security can not be left to chance, especially in your golden years. Just because youve achieved financial security, does not mean your financial planning is over. You can spend a lifetime updating yourself on the subject, so you have two choices: be the expert or hire one. It does no good to spend your life saving and investing wisely only to give it all back to Uncle Sam! After all, its what you and your loved ones keep, that counts. Keith W. Interpersonal Communication Secrets that Work Every Time

By Peter Murphy Interpersonal communication is something most of us do on a daily basis, although we may not be aware that is what it is called. Interpersonal communication differs from other forms of communication in various ways. It is also very important in development. The following list outlines what interpersonal communication is and what some of the characterizes are. It also explains why we need it. 1. What is it? Interpersonal communication involves a close group of participants. It is basically the everyday conversations you carry on and it includes speeches, general friendly exchanges, arguments and basically anytime you speak to someone. 2. How is it different than other forms of communication? Interpersonal communication involves face to face encounters. You are talking in person not over a computer, phone or through written information. You can get immediate responses. You are also able to benefit from body language. You hear a voice where you can pick up on different dialects and speech patterns. 3. How does interpersonal communication vary? The variances in interpersonal communication involve the people and situations. You communicate differently with someone you know well verses a stranger. You will have different topics of conversation when talking to your preacher or your best friend. These variations make interpersonal communication flexibility important for difference circumstances. 4. How do we use interpersonal communication? We use interpersonal communication for a variety of reasons. You use it to learn new information, such as when asking questions. You use it to share information, such as when telling a story. You use it to define yourself, such as when giving a speech. You also use it to fulfill the natural need for contact with other people. Interpersonal communication is how we develop from infant to adult. We learn about different cultures and languages through interpersonal communication as well. It gives you a human element, a real nature that other forms of communication can not provide. 5. Why is interpersonal communication important? Interpersonal communication is important because you need it to develop throughout the stages of life. You get so much from interpersonal communication. You learn, teach and get an identity through interpersonal communication. You also share with others who you are. You need interpersonal communication to learn how to pronounce words correctly, how to speak properly in certain situations and how to communicate in general. Interpersonal communication has taken a back seat to other forms of communication in recent years. More people than ever are using the internet to exchange information and make contact with others. We must also be sure to keep interpersonal communication in our lives. Without it babies will never learn to talk properly and we can never expand our language abilities through learning form others speech. What To Wear At Your Wedding

By Eric Hartwell If youre a soon to be a bride, youre probably agonizing about what you should wear at your wedding. Don’t lose sleep over the choice. The answer is simple whatever you want! Wear whatever you want to your wedding. Whether you want to wear a gown fit for a princess or a ramshackle version of Elvis jumpsuit, as long as youre happy with it, then its okay. But if youre reading this article, then Im fairly sure that you havent decided on what you want yet. Otherwise, youd have stopped reading the moment you read that sarcastic remark about wearing whatever you want. A Few Tips on Deciding What to Wear at your Wedding Consider what type of wedding youre having. If youre having a typical church wedding, then a customary white floor-length gown would suffice. Make sure that its not too revealing, otherwise the conservative church might not approve. But if youre having a flashy Vegas-wedding, you can go crazy with your outfit. You remember that ramshackle version of Elvis jumpsuit I mentioned earlier? Well, at a Vegas wedding, you can wear it with gusto. If youre wedding is going to be a garden wedding, then you might want to wear a gown that sort of resembles a fairys outfit, and put a few flowers in your hair to complete the effect. This would give an ethereal feel to your wedding. If youre going to have an evening wedding, an elegant gown would be great. If youre going to have your wedding in broad daylight, those princess-style gowns would be wonderful. The Wedding Gown Color Most women choose to wear gowns though, so lets hinge on this fact. If you decide to wear a gown, youll have to decide what color itll be. Most women opt for white as it symbolizes purity or virginity. After all, youre supposed to enter marriage as a virgin, and wearing white would mean that you are one. You could also wear Cream or Ivory, as they symbolize the same thing. But if you dont want to stick to tradition, then you could choose other colors like pink, blue, or yellow. Whichever color you choose, make sure that it matches the color theme of your wedding. You dont want to look out of place. The Wedding Gown Design Another factor to consider when choosing your wedding gown is your body type or your body features. If you are busty, then you might want to wear an off-shoulder bodice. Also, it would be advisable to wear a full skirt to balance your top. If youre petite, then you should wear a simple gown. A strapless or off-shoulder A-line dress would look great on you. If youre thin, you might want to wear a ball gown. If youre tall, then youre lucky because almost anything would look great on you. Empire cut gowns would just look wonderful on you. Just remember to avoid tall hairstyles and long sleeves. The most important thing that you should wear on your wedding day though is a bright smile. Good Luck. Eric Hartwell oversees “The World’s Best Homepage” intended to be a user-generated resource where YOUR opinion counts. Anybody can contribute and all are welcomed. Recruiting Methods to Help Find Ideal Employees

By James Hunt If you are trying to fill positions within your company with the highest quality personnel that are the best match for your team and company there are some recruiting methods that will yield more positive matches and more successful recruiting endeavors. Recruiting methods vary from field to field and business to business. Some companies have strict rules when it comes to recruiting new employees for their business. Other companies are more free form when it comes to internal policies regarding recruiting and companies like these often let their field managers use their best judgment when recruiting candidates to fill positions within their organizational node. There are many ways to approach the situation. When it comes to retail operations, a lot of management teams at department stores and high volume retail outlets will search competitors and other businesses within their geographical district. It is not uncommon for companies in a mall/shopping center setting to send their store managers on recruiting missions (and indeed, at some retail establishments, managers are expected to meet a quota for recruited personnel. Recruiting is often approached lightly and casually at first, with recruiters assuming the role of shoppers in the retail environment of their desired target of recruitment. This affords the recruiter an opportunity to observe the potential subject of recruiting in his or her natural environment and gives the recruiter a chance to make note of desired traits or bad habits. If the recruiter finds that the subject has desirable traits for a new hire, then the approach is made, casually at first, perhaps feeling out if the target is happy where they are or to get an idea what kind of compensation would be required to woo the potential from their current employ. Once the basics are determined, the recruiters next job is to meet with the prospective employee on neutral ground to discuss the subjects potential future in the employ of the recruiters company. James Hunt has spent 15 years as a professional writer and researcher covering stories that cover a whole spectrum of interest. Love Eluding You? Let Go and It May Find You

By Sue Bond How many times have you heard someone say it was when they werent looking for love that they found it? Often theyll say, I had just accepted the possibility that I may not find someone and realized that Id be ok. Or, Its ok if Im single for the rest of my life. Its a paradox. Were taught to focus on what we want and to take action until we reach our target. Yet if we focus or hold on too tight to the target, it eludes our grasp and gets further and further away. Whats a single gal or guy to do? I needed an answer so I called relationship coach Karen Jones. I figured if anyone knew the answer she would. Karen has been working with and listening to hundreds of single and married women for eight years through her Heart Matters (http://www.heartmatter.net) coaching company. When I asked her for an explanation of this paradox she explained it like this: Think of it in terms of energy. There is a flow to it; the more attached you are to an outcome, the more you squeeze the flow, and you either slow it down, divert it, or simply shut if off. I like to use the imagery of being in the shower, and grabbing a bar of soap. If you squeeze too hard the soap jumps out of your hand. Its like that with relationships. If you squeeze too hard around relationship energy it becomes too hard to hold. Loosen your grip, and the soap (relationship) is there. She then went on to explain the solution. You have to decide youre just going to be happy in life, no matter what. Make your life work now. Do what you love to do, and spend time in ways that fulfill you. One indirect benefit of that decision (and way of being), is this: that energy is very attractive. Youre doing things that interest you, which will create opportunities for you to meet people that you enjoy; men as well as women whod be good to spend time with. Just to clarify. This doesnt mean you give up on your vision of having a happy, successful marriage. You need to keep that dream alive in your heart. It does mean you let go of the specific details you have pictured in your mind about your dream. For example: your husband will be 62 tall and have blue eyes and blond hair, youll have 2 kids - a twin boy and girl, and your house will be in this city on this street etc. Trust that your vision will unfold and that it may look very different from your picture. In fact, its often better than what you could have possibly imagined. Its like this invisible fine-line exists. While you need to clearly see and know what you want and take action to make your intention a reality, at the same time you have to be ok if you dont get it. Expect to get it yet dont be attached to getting the outcome. If you find yourself holding on too tight, just let go and enjoy life. Love may find you.
